Death guides have one job and that is to help people who know their death is imminent. Most death guides keep their names, memories and personalities from their past life. However, one rather young death guide has no recollection of her name or death. This particular death guide did not care about her memories, she just wanted to do her job. Until one day, she is to guide a young girl dying from cancer. The girl questions why the young death guide why she does not know her name and tells her to find her identity. The death guide then goes to the head death guide to get answers but before she is given what she needs to find out the truth, she is called to collect the young girl. The young girl starts telling the death guide a story that seems familiar to her and as the young girl dies, the death guide finally remembers who she was when she was alive.
